STRAWBERRY HOT CHOCOLATE TARTLETS
Ingredients:
- Sable Ingredients:
200g flour
25g almond powder
13g cocoa powder
1.5g salt
113g unsalted butter (cold)
1 egg
1tsp chilled water
- Hot chocolate ganache Ingredients:
100g fresh cream
50g milk
1 sachet All Things Hot Chocolate Mix Or 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp corn flour, adding sugar is optional
100g of chocolate chunks or chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Sieve all the dry ingredients for sable and add the cold butter
- Rub the butter with the ingredients until you get a sandy textured mixer
- Add the egg and mix the dough, add chilled water if you feel the dough needs more moisture
- Form a dough and keep it to chill in the fridge
- For the Hot chocolate ganache, add the cream and milk in the saucepan along with the hot chocolate mix
- Pour the hot mixture over the chopped chocolates and mix it well
- Roll out the dough and fix it in the mould
