• Sable Ingredients: 

200g flour 

25g almond powder

13g cocoa powder 

1.5g salt

113g unsalted butter (cold)

1 egg

1tsp chilled water 

  • Hot chocolate ganache Ingredients:

100g fresh cream 

50g milk

1 sachet All Things Hot Chocolate Mix Or 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp corn flour, adding sugar is optional

100g of chocolate chunks or chocolate chips 


  • Sieve all the dry ingredients for sable and add the cold butter 
  • Rub the butter with the ingredients until you get a sandy textured mixer 
  • Add the egg and mix the dough, add chilled water if you feel the dough needs more moisture 
  • Form a dough and keep it to chill in the fridge
  • For the Hot chocolate ganache, add the cream and milk in the saucepan along with the hot chocolate mix 
  • Pour the hot mixture over the chopped chocolates and mix it well
  • Roll out the dough and fix it in the mould
