SALTED CARAMEL ICE CREAM
For the Salted caramel:
1 cup caster Sugar
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup Amul fresh cream
1tsp salt
A shot of whiskey is optional
For the Ice-cream base:
2 cup Amul fresh cream
1 can or 400 ml of condensed milk
Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions:
- Make the caramel by adding sugar and water, and take it off the heat when it turns amber in color and add Amul cream
- Add salt and water and let the caramel sauce cool down completely
- In a chilled bowl, add your whipping cream, or fresh cream along with condensed milk and whip it for a couple of minutes using a hand or a stand mixer
- Chill it in the freezer for 8 hours/ overnight
- Now, in a mixer jar, add the frozen mix and churn it until a smoothie like texture is seen
- Chill it again for 4-5 hours
- Add the salted caramel and enjoy
