• 1 and half cups of Refined flour/maida (for a healthier option add whole wheat flour)
  • 3/4 cup of caster sugar (for a healthier option add raw cane sugar)
  • 1tbsp of corn flour
  • 1tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2tsp of baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of sweet lime juice 
  • zest of 1 sweet lime
  • handful of chopped pineapples (1/2 pineapple)


  • Mix all the dry ingredients 
  • Add the zest of 1 sweet lime as well as its juice with vegetable oil
  • Add a few chopped pineapples and fold the batter nicely
  • Line a tin with oil and dust some flour and pour the batter
  • Finally bake the cake for 25-30 minutes in a 175 degrees preheated oven 
  • Decorate the cake with some light whipped cream and flowers and fruits
